About Us

Imani Crosby, PsyD, Licensed Psychologist
Pronouns: she/her
Languages in which I conduct therapy: English
My approach to therapy: I believe that therapy works best when you feel in control of your own journey. I take a supportive, collaborative approach, allowing you to set the pace and focus on what feels most important to you. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to explore who you are, embrace your authentic self, and build confidence in your own voice. I'm committed to reducing the stigma around mental health and making therapy a respectful, welcoming place for all.
My clinical interests include substance use, relationship concerns, trauma, and societal influences. When it comes to tools and strategies, I primarily draw from approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I tailor these approaches to fit your needs and goals, always keeping you at the center of the process.
My approach to supervision: In supervision, I take a collaborative approach grounded in the developmental model. I recognize that each supervisee brings their own strengths, experiences, and areas for growth. My role is to meet you where you are, offer guidance that fits your current stage, and support your growth into a confident, reflective, and authentic clinician. I believe supervision should feel supportive and rooted in open dialogue.
