He is committed to advancing archaeological methodologies, with a particular emphasis on integrating cutting edge technologies into archaeological practices in Mesoamerica and indigenous cultural heritage sites.

Amanda Aklan

Amanda, also known as Marnie, is an expert in archaeological fieldwork and specializes in the digital applications of archaeology, including 3D scanning, 3D printing, and photogrammetry. Currently, she is a first-year master鈥檚 student at USF, focusing on the digitization of Black cemeteries threatened by climate change and gentrification.

Rose is a M.A. student in Library and Information Science. Her research interests involve digital curation, museum work, and religious cultural artifacts. She hopes to use the knowledge she learned to further her career in museum work at her job working in the archives at the Ybor City Museum Society.
